Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage home with my family and I.
If words could describe your home, they would not just speak of the delicate selection of every single item placed here , nor the intricate details both inside and out… rather, the magnificent LIFE that has been breathed into this space.
There is nothing little about your cottage, not in comparison to the great impression it leaves at every turn.
Every detail, whether obvious or hidden, has been carefully placed with such love and intention. Every single item has its own story of where it’s been and how it got to be here, in the Le Miel Cottage.
I feel so blessed to have stayed in
your lovely home, to find rest and to learn to breathe again.
This is me trying to sum up in few words just a brief passage that could come remotely close to describing our everlasting experience.

If you are debating on whether or not to book this cottage, DO IT IMMEDIATELY! This is the perfect girl’s getaway, couple’s retreat or family haven. The location is absolutely beautiful—towering pine trees, picturesque neighborhoods, quaint shops and coffee spots, not to mention the stunning private lake.

But all that is available IF you want to actually leave the Le Miel cottage! Everything is so charming from the moment you step foot on the porch. The white and honey contrast of colors, the flowers, sweet door and windows. I could already feel the love and intention that the keepers put into this home.

And then you step in—let’s just say that it almost felt like you were in a cottage in France. Every room and corner expresses the love and purpose of this work of art’s owners. The living room, bathrooms, bedrooms, outdoor area, and let’s not forget the exquisite kitchen are curated with a myriad of beautiful and unique little treasures.

And it was so CLEAN! I didn’t want to leave!

Wandered back in time to the 1920s forest cottage of my dreams. The amount of love poured into every corner of this home is truly magical.
To the keepers, Thank you for making my birthday so special and opening your doors to the dreamiest little portal into the past. It was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more. Your warmth, hospitality & attention to every detail are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Le Miel will forever have my heart and I will truly never forget my time here.

I cannot say enough good things about this special place. The sun shining through the lace curtains, the beads of rain off the trees, all of the outdoor dining and the picturesque walks around the lake healed something in me. Karen provided guides for everything you could think of; antiquing, trails, food and even a rainy day guide. Her communication made the stay feel even more nurturing, even including a baby gate when I mentioned I was bringing my littles. You can tell every piece in here has a story and we were honored to be one of them. Thank you Le Miel Cottage we cannot wait to be back!
